Do the Brush Mark Really Flow Out When Brushing DiamondFinish Clear?

Yes, DiamondFinish Clear is a simple-to-use 1K Clear Coat specifically designed to be applied by brush — and still look like it was sprayed.

Pro Tip — Brushing Technique

Apply thin, covering coats and do not overwork the brush. Brush an area once and move on — brushing the same area repeatedly forces out the solvents, which can cause the coating to cure too quickly and leave visible brush marks that won't flow out properly.

DiamondFinish Clear is a long-lasting, moisture-cured clear coat engineered to add body, depth, and a rich gloss to virtually any surface.

Thanks to its high solids content, DiamondFinish Clear delivers excellent coverage while remaining highly flexible — so it won't crack or peel over time. It is also 100% UV stable, guaranteeing it will never yellow.

DiamondFinish Clear is also an excellent medium for suspending glitter in custom finishes.

Thinning for Flow-Out

Thinning is generally not required when brushing. However, if you need to improve flow-out, you can thin DiamondFinish Clear by approximately 10% using the appropriate reducer.
