If your RustSeal will be exposed to sunlight, we always recommend finishing it with a solid color, UV stable topcoat rather than a clear. The topcoat provides both UV protection for the RustSeal and long-lasting color retention.
Our recommended topcoats over RustSeal are BlackTop and KBS MAXX — both are UV stable, highly durable, and engineered to bond over RustSeal for a finished, professional result.
