The KBS 3-Step Tank Sealer System is absolutely ideal for new tanks. If you leave a new tank uncoated, it will eventually rust, leaving you with clogged fuel filters and injectors.
Common Misconception A very common misconception with sealing new tanks is that you don't need KBS Klean and RustBlast. New tanks made of new steel are very slick and not an ideal surface for Tank Sealer to stick to, so we always recommend KBS Klean and RustBlast to properly clean and etch the surface so Tank Sealer can bite into the surface and adhere permanently. |
