Is RustBlast safe if it is gets on wiring, rubber, etc. during the process of using it on a car chassis?

Yes, as long as the contact is casual and the RustBlast is rinsed off with water, RustBlast should not affect your wiring and rubber components.

Working on a Full Chassis?

RustBlast is a mild acid etch, so casual contact with wiring, rubber hoses, and bushings during application is fine. Just rinse the whole chassis with water once you're done treating the metal, the same rinse step you're already doing to remove the RustBlast residue.

Please be sure to check out the complete RustBlast Application Directions before starting your project for proper dilution, dwell time, rinsing, and drying guidance.

Ready to Treat Your Chassis?

RustBlast dissolves rust and etches bare metal for maximum adhesion before you seal it with RustSeal.
