As most know, you will get the best finish when you spray metallic coatings because the process of spraying allows the metallic pigments in the KBS MAXX to float to the surface creating the metallic sparkle. That said, spraying KBS MAXX is not always an option, and we get that. An extremely popular brushing technique for brushing metallic coatings is to brush out the KBS MAXX, let the coat cure for a few minutes, then lightly brush the surface again in one direction which will help float the metallic pigments to the surface giving you a nice metallic sparkle finish. As with all painting techniques, practice makes perfect.
