Yes. Clean the old factory paint with KBS Klean and a green scotch brite pad to remove any loose, flaky paint. Rinse and let the surface get bone dry. Then dust a coat of Fusion SEP on the surface. Wait an hour and then you can coat over that surface with any coating, including our Topcoats.
Pro Tip: Considering RustSeal Instead? You can also use RustSeal over Fusion SEP, but only on surfaces that are not consistently exposed to direct sunlight. For anything that lives outdoors or in the sun, stick with one of the UV stable Topcoats instead. |
